A Transformative Mindfulness Methods certificate will be granted, at the successful completion  jointly by Continuing Education, Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto, and Transformative Mindfulness International.

This course is designed so that you can personally experience five key Transformative Mindfulness self-healing methods from the comfort of your home. Transform underlying emotional triggers and causes of problems and health challenges at their root so that you live more joyfully and peacefully. Surprisingly simple, quick, compassionate and easy enough to use later to help yourself.

Join a small personal group from different countries over your phone or Skype. Dekyi-Lee Oldershaw will personally guide and support your self-healing experience.

Who is it for: Anyone who wishes to learn new ways to to improve their situation or would like learn these tools to eventually help otherst. TMM has been applied in many settings: Applications of TMM.

Course details: This 6-session series is over the telephone or your Skype directly with the developer of Transformative Mindfulness methods, Dekyi-Lee Oldershaw. You will be fully engaged for 2  hours with an additional 15 minutes on some weeks.

Bonus: Audio recordings of the sessions will be emailed to you in case you need to miss a session or for future support with the exercises.

Transformative Mindfulness Methods are recognized as a social and healthcare program for universal education for compassion and wisdom by The Foundation for Developing Compassion and Wisdom, UK whose patron is His Holiness The Dalai Lama.

This Level 1 will provide you with the prerequisite program that leads to Level 2 and then Level 3 Practitione Training ,jointly certified by the Applied Mindfulness Meditation Certificate Program, Continueing Education,Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto.

Transformative Mindfulness Methods have been included in University of Florence Masters Degree program in Applied Mindfulness Meditation for Healthcare Professionals in 2013.

Dekyi-Lee will personally guide you through the following:

  1. Introduction to each other and Transformative Mindfulness methods then guided Mindfulness and Acceptance of Body Sensations Meditation
  2. Intuitive Body Scan (this may go a little bit longer)
  3. Transforming Problems Receptive Visualization
  4. Enhancing Your Positive Qualities and Health Receptive Visualization
  5. Transforming Inner Conflict Receptive Visualization
  6. Personal Integration, Next Steps and Support

Each session will follow this format:

  • Welcome and personally connect - you can also call in 10 minutes before to informally chat with other participants as they join - like having a cuppa together first!
  • Explanation of the exercise
  • Experience the exercise
  • Share your experience in small groups
  • Sharing of your  key insights with the whole group (please know that you can always say “pass”)
  • Q & A
  • Optional chat: After the session is finished, it is possible to remain on the call to continue to informally connect with each other.

If you miss a session or want to hear it again, within a few days, we will happily providing you with the audio recording of the session as well as the exercise that you can print out so that you can practice the exercise before the next session.

The Level 3 raining is jointly certified by the University of Toronto's, Inter-professional Mindfulness Meditation Certificate Program, Contintuing Education, Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work.
