Transformative Mindfulness Facilitator Tele-Support series in September

Transformative Mindfulness International Facilitator Community and Support Telesessions and Potluck: Series Two

Please note the new starting date will be in September

We would like to have you join us for our second series. What we love is that no matter where you are on your path, you can come and go, for years sometimes, and you can reconnect and always belong as part of this facilitator community.

After the first series, it was inspiring to hear these comments:

I feel like I am part of something. Kathryn Zettle, Ottawa, Canada

Deepening with the exercises helped me find my essence at a new level and it left me wanting to share it more enthusiastically. It has made such an impact is how I can live.  Joan Weisburg, Chicago, USA

“This is like being part of a unique community built without walls. We have trained at different times in different locations but six years after the first training we have a very entrenched community and I am grateful to be part of that.” Una West, Dundas, Canada

Please join us for the next series of four tele-sessions.

Dates: Every three weeks beginning in September - starting date to be announced

Time: 7:00 to 9:00pm Eastern Time (Toronto)

Cost:  $80

If you may need to miss a session, no problem! We will send an audio recording to everyone after each session.

Please register below. You will then receive information on how to get the telephone number and access code for the telesessions.

Here's what we will be doing together each session:

  1. Share our experiences, tips, questions and wisdom - a chance to connect, laugh and support each other
  2. Dekyi-Lee will guide us in an exercise to transform at a deeper level and strengthen confidence with the exercises.
  3. Discussion of a topic.
  4. Occassionally, we will break into small sharing/discussion groups

Topics different facilitators have asked to discuss in this next series are:

  • How to market and communicate what we are doing.
  • How to protect ourselves energetically.
  • The neuroscience behind Transformative Mindfulness
  • How to facilitate the exercises with groups
  • How to help others with rites of passage.

Exercises that were requested are:

  • Cutting Ties that Bind
  • Enhancing + Qualities
  • Transforming Problems

Note: June 6 Session 1 Potuck starts earlier at 6 pm is followed by the telesession. We loved our first ever teleconference potluck. We have learned a lot and now know that we need extra time to munch during the potluck before the first call. The potluck is at Teresa's house in Oakville, Canada with delicious food. You can fly in, drive in or walk in, we can even provide a bed for you!

If you can’t physically be there, then at 7pm, simply join us by calling or Skype in and we will all join in the sharing virtually.

What did we do in the first series?

Twenty facilitators came together for the first series that finished April 11. Exercises that we experienced and subjects we discussed were:

  1. Transforming Problems with an emphasis on learning the optional Forgiveness Step. Plus a new document that includes this step with more detail for easier facilitation and a more scientific explanation at the beginning of the exercise - thanks to Kathryn Zettle and Pramilda Seto
  2. Tong Len practice - revisiting this to familiarize and use it more and sharing how these exercises have deepened our compassion and wisdom
  3. Life Purpose with an emphasis on learning how to facilitate the steps: Underlying reason the purpose is important (step 4) and ultimate purpose (step 5)
  4. Right Livelihood section of Life Purpose exercise - tips and discussion on facilitating resistance and how much to guide.
  5. Enhancing Positive Qualities exercise with different options on how to focus this.

Can I order the recordings of the first four sessions if I missed the first series?

We are happy to send you the recordings of the four sessions as audio downloads (MP3) for $80.00. Just click here.
