Workshops and Training
16 Guidelines for Life is a book, now integrated into schools, social services programs, prisons, healthcare and advocacy in 6 languages and 23 countries, co-authored by Dekyi-Lee Oldershaw and Alison Murdoch for The Foundation for Developing Compassion and Wisdom whose patron is The Dalai Lama. It is also adapted for children and youth. Workshops and training are available in Toronto area including the University of Toronto and 23 countries in 6 languages.
Our programs are offered by Deky-Lee Oldershaw and certified facilitators in many locations internationally. Our local programs are at The Centre For Compassion and Wisdom in Hamilton and Burlington, Ontario. Some of our facilitators are also faculty of these courses at the Inter-professional Applied Mindfulness Meditation Certificate Program, Continuing Education, Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto.
We are one of the only sources of Facilitator Training in the Five Tibetan Yogas, as taught by ZaChoeje Rinpoche. With a foundation in Tibetan Buddhism, this is a profound set of flowing exercises that increase your energy and joy in your pursuit of happiness. Facilitators are now trained in Canada, USA and UK.
